  MIDT is the acronym for the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Transportation.

2. When was MIDT established?
  MIDT was established on 1st August, 1963. The first Minister was YB Encik Abdul Taib bin Mahmud, now the 7th Head of State of Sarawak.
