Tuai Rumah Mudan presents a souvenir to Majang.
BINTULU: The road upgrading project for Kampung Rumah Mudan Luchak in Kampung Pengerat, Mile 14, along the Bintulu-Miri Road has been fully completed and is set to bring significant benefits to the local community.
The official inauguration of the project was officiated by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development cum Samalaju assemblyman, Datuk Majang Renggi.
He emphasised the importance of infrastructure development in improving the standard of living for rural communities.
According to him, this project not only facilitates easier movement for residents but also creates broader economic opportunities, particularly in the agricultural sector and small businesses.
“The government is committed to ensuring better infrastructure development for the people, especially in rural areas.
With the completion of this project, we hope it will help boost the local economy and enhance the well-being of residents,” he said.
Majang further added that the road upgrading project is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance rural infrastructure, ensuring the continued well-being of the people of Sarawak.
The event was also attended by 62 community leaders and village heads from settlements along the Pan Borneo Highway, Bintulu-Miri Road, who expressed their appreciation for the government’s efforts in improving their basic infrastructure.
